The Viewing Room is a Brighton-based cultural events programme creating intimate, shared experiences around live music, film, and listening.

We work with artists, venues, and partners to present small-scale events designed for focused attention - live performances, screenings, and listening sessions where atmosphere matters and the work is given space to be fully experienced. Events take place in carefully chosen partner venues, prioritising intimacy over scale and spectacle.

Selected events are professionally documented and form a growing digital archive of contemporary performance and cultural moments. This documentation is intended to be meaningful and useful to the artists involved, while allowing audiences to engage with the work beyond the room itself.

The Viewing Room sits between the live and the recorded, the physical and the digital. We aim to create respectful, collaborative environments for artists, welcoming spaces for audiences, and thoughtful partnerships with venues and promoters.
